Privacy notice

Enhancing Education Tutors (“E2 Tutors”) uses this portal to arrange tutoring for high school learners. We take your privacy, and especially children’s privacy, seriously and follow the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we keep

• Parent: name, email address, phone number and payment records.
• Learner: name, grade, school, curriculum, subjects, lessons, tutor feedback, test dates and marks, and (if the parent allows it) a username to log in.
• Tutors: name, contact details and the lessons they give.

Why

Only to give lessons, share progress with the family, send invoices and stay in touch with you. We never sell your information or share it for marketing.

Who sees it

The E2 Tutors manager; the tutor assigned to the learner (that learner only); the parent (their own children only); and the learner (their own lessons, feedback and marks only, not billing).

Children

A parent or guardian gives consent on the learner’s behalf when they register and when a student login is created.

How we protect it

Passwords are never stored as plain text, the portal only works over a secure (HTTPS) connection, and each person only sees what belongs to them.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you or your child (except records the law requires us to keep for financial purposes). Contact us at admin@e2tutors.co.za or 073 248 0803.
